Chrissy Teigen surprised everyone recently at the launch of her new collection called Chrissy X Quay. What she did was bring her entire family to the launch which included the singing superstar John Legend and their two children—Luna Simone, 3 year old, and Miles Theodore, 1 year old.
It was amazing to see Chrissy bringing her children to an event since she has been trolled a lot recently about her parenting style. What happened was that Chrissy shared a video of her and her daughter Luna lounging in their living room. As they watch Sesame Street, Chrissy shows off Luna’s hot-pink toenails. Although most commenters admired Chrissy’s handiwork, some of them were quick to criticize.
But the whole family was there to support her as the model and the cookbook author collaborated with Quay Australia for a new line of sunglasses. The launch party was hosted in West Hollywood, California.
The family looked picture perfect as they posed together and had a blast in coordinating ensembles.
Teigen, now 33, chose to wear a long-sleeve romper. This look was further enhanced by pairing them with clear heels, Marco Bicego earrings and Le Vian rings. Le Vian, for those of you who don’t know, is the jewelry company of the Chocolate Diamond® jewelry fame. It is a trend setter in the jewelry industry and celebrities all over the world are falling in love with it and wear it every chance that they get. Apparently, Chrissy is among those clelebrities.
John Legend, 40, wore a tailored lavender suit complete with a patterned white shirt and colorful accents to match Teigen’s outfit. The killer outfit was matched with gray sneakers.
Luna is not a newbie when it comes to attending events and has previously attended some with her mother. Her pink dress that had blue and green flowers complimented both her parents. She had blue bows on the two buns on her head.
Miles, not to be left out, had on a Nantucket red pants and a short-sleeve white shirt.
The Chrissy x Quay collection contains a whole wide range of the brand’s most selling sunglasses. The glasses were all in muted retro colors and shapes that were hugely liked by the fans.
Teigen, herself had worked on the line and chosen the selection which were priced between $50 and $60. According to what she told Harper’s Bazaar, she and the brand had selected the shapes that people already loved and admired and had given them different colors to make them more Chrissy’s style. There are a number of darker shades for the fall season and some mirror sunglasses too.
Teigen said at the party that she had been wearing Quay sunglasses for a long time and had friends that had done collaborations with the company. The company had, in the past, sent her some of their best sunglasses and Chrissy got a lot of praise and admiration every time she wore those. She even went as far as to say that she had never gotten as much compliments for the other glasses that she had as she got when she wore Quay sunglasses. So when she got the chance to work with the company, she was very excited.
Her excitement could clearly be seen in the photos that she shared on Instagram that include a lot of shots of her daughter. Luna can also be spotted easily on the company’s official commercial for the collaboration.
